Matt, It supposedly got SOLD FOR £1245 by the same vendor on E-bay back in June 2013

H342 CBD has been well documented on the BXC when it sold for £401 before it became part of 'Someones collection' and I'm sure 'Tim' will never forget THIS-ONE in a hurry !

This is the one that caused all the whoohaa last year, I understood it was now unsaleable and was going to be scrapped...which I am glad that it hasnt.

Looks a nice car though (asides the front bumper) and very low miles.

I've had a read through of the previous threads and looking at the ebay listings, it seems that the vendor is a 'classic dealer' from March, whereas ACA are stating from the Patrick Rugg collection, can anyone shed any light on this?

Patrick is - or was - a classic Citroen dealer from March. He's recently announced his retirement and ACA are auctioning off parts of his collection.

I've had no direct dealings with the Ruggs, so do not wish to comment about them. I will say that it's a nice looking car, and although some don't think so I quite like the non-standard bumper.

Bear in mind that it may need a few little jobs doing to return it to the road (due to being stood more than anything else), so factor that into your budget.

Two owners from new first Citroen UK, then second from December 1986. 55,595 miles with full history up to 54,472 before being laid up in 1997. All handbooks, old mot's, old tax discs and has two keys. The vehicle has no mot or tax and will need recommissioning before being put into daily use. It runs beautifully and all the hydraulic suspension, brakes and steering works correctly. It is structurally perfect but has a few minor paint blemishes commensurate with 28 years of age. The clutch biting point is high and one wheel trim is missing.
