5 Door Hatchback, Diesel, Manual. We are the forth owners from new, we have had the car 8 years, used for work every day, regular service. Power steering, central locking, Drives well, tidy interior and in good overall condition. Suspension fully working, good tyres, Front suspension spheres replaced. cambelt changed recently , Tax & MOT June 2012. Slight damage to rear near side passenger door. Near side headlight needs replacing (£21 on internet) £399 ono. Bradford, West Yorkshire BEST BX FOR SALE ON AUTOTRADER. £399

Shame about the slight damage (N/S headlamp, N/S/R door and quarter panel) but with a little TLC with a good donor door and perhaps a new N/S/R quarter panel cut out and a new one welded in (If it can't be panel beated out/repaired) at a good body shop with a proper paint job, this then would make a very smart/nice BX for reasonable £'s hopefully !

Also Note/take into account ! that the TAX/MOT is about out, probably just enough to be legal to get you home and check it over before its need renewing !

Remember to do the usual checks as can be found in the BUYER'S GUIDE and take any finding into consideration, prior to making any offer !

Thats a late one, as like my old red one theres no rear 1/4 window. Shame about the damage.....I have a headlamp...NO i Dont want it!

At a guess I would say it has been used to tow a caravan as it has a swaymaster bracket under the tow bar

Check the clutch then! the one on mine was toast, that had been a tug too.

Hiya guys, just thought I would like to introduce my self, I am Sal from Leeds and I have just bought this car for a nice price, this is my first BX and I hope to keep it for a while, I just needed to ask you guys a few questions, firstly I will need a nsf headlamp if any of you have a spare, secondly when I bought the car I checked for any leaks from suspension etc with the limited knowledge I have of these cars there seemed to be none, however upon arriving at home and parking car on my drive way I noticed fluid leaking from front wheel area of drivers side, if any of you can point me in the right direction that would be of great help, thanks guys.

welcome Sal ,probably a strut return pipe come off, black rubber block on strut with two pipes that go onto metal pipes on bracket in the arch, may have just popped off or may be sign of strut failing and letting to much fluid past .then the pressure pushes the pipe off, new return pipes are available from europarts and the like

Welcome aboard, ebay is probably the best bet for a headlamp as they are cheap enough, they are a doddle to fit as they just pull off the adjusters.

I just had a NSF headlamp replaced yesterday, the original had a crack but was working, I didn't keep it but if that would be better than what you currently have I can check if the garage still have it and if they do it's yours. Failing that a guy in Oswestry who I have contact details for offered me a replacement one when he saw my cracked one a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I have always loved the look on these cars but was afraid to buy one because of what people said about them but hey, (don't knock it back till you have tried it) , drove the car back home yesterday and must admit a very comfortable ride back, a few issues need sorting but for me it's a nice starting project and with folks as helpfull as you guys I should have access to a fountain of knowledge.
