It doesn't look too bad and is really quite rare though I don't know whether the seller is correct in thinking it unique...

I recognise that drive! This is Richard1128's that he bough a year or two ago isn't it? I thought it was bought as a daily for his dad or summat like that. Wonder why it wasn't offered on the forum?

If I hadn't bought the GT i'd be all over this!

My estate could be unique. I didn't pay that much for it though! A good project for someone but I feel the typical 'rare French car, therefore worthless' rule applies. Well, not worthless, but not desirable to the wider world at any rate.

Firstly Tom, slow down a bit, like most folk on here by now recognises Richards house/drive

But :-
a) Richards forum 'Tagname' is not 'Richard1128' but 'richard1652'.
b) It was only just before Christmas 2011 when he purchased it (As he had a massive BX stock clearance Autumn time) !
c) I would think by E-Baying it he doesn't need to get messed about, also getting the best price and hopefully completing a deal quicker (He will have no doubt/expect that someone will spot it and place a link to his ad. in 'The Forum spotted' section' too) !

I think Richard has set a realistic opening price which he may only just recover his buying and transportation costs, so the fact it was just before Christmas if he had not secured/fetched it who knows what fate this rare BX may have faced ?

So all thing's considered (for the time of the year) IMHO he did a sterling job this time

Hold up, no slight on Richard intended whatsoever, he's a lovely bloke IMO! I only recognise the drive as I have been there to purchase a TGE in 2010. The reason I commented on advertising on ebay first is that I would have thought he'd get less messed about and perhaps a better deal with a car of that rarity on this forum, rather than ebay.

You seem to have an incredible memory Mr RXBX, with all your correctional postings and links to cars mentioned!
