1993 1.9 TGD Estate Spotted F/S - Chippenham (Car & Classic)

As title listing spotted F/S on CAR & CLASSIC for £250 (Listed only yesterday), unfortunately a poor ad. with no photo's

Much loved Citroen BX estate for sale. Good runner but not suitable for current daily long commute. Hence sale. Off road for 8 months but regularly run and driven. Really too good to be stripped for spares. Serious buyers welcome to test drive. Needs MOT but nothing significant expected.

We are the 2nd owners (purchased 1999). Low mileage for age as we previously lived overseas only returning a couple of times a year. (138,299 miles)

Maybe worth a look, if someone's nearby ?

I see that this one had some photo's loaded up eventually on C&C and is NOW SOLD !

By the looks of the photos, K719 *** is a nice tidy example and someone has bagged a bargain here, well done

I've just been looking at this one again (With it being unusually different/nice) and then suddenly the penny dropped !

Unless someone can show/post up some images (Maybe Tim) to prove otherwise ?

It's just a 1.9TGD in Silver with a Grey Tweed upholstery (Right) !

Which I'd say would have expected to see a Grey dash/seat capping's/carpet and door card caps (If I was being asked the question over the phone say, with no photos in front of me) !

But hey, take another look !


This one has a Black dash/seat capping's/carpet and door cards but with Grey Tweed seat upholstery, how unusual is that (If indeed this is how it left the Citroen production-line) ?

What do other members think ?

I bet it did. My very first BX was a 1992 19TGD with grey tweed and black trim. They must have run out of grey at the time!

The very last TGD models went to black dash with grey upholstery, 93MY onwards, so is correct, I think it looks good! Alot of the ozzie spec cars had two tone trim.
