Tim , could you ask the guy with the 1.6 athena if he would sell me the round thingy off his car alternatively could you find out if VW still sell the fuel reservoir they used to fit to pieburg carb engined MK2 golfs and the part number for me

Hi Mick
The old guy with the cars on his woods is 83, so any parts you would want I imagine you will have to take off yourself.
Surely somoene has broken a 1.6?
Any takers for the Mk2 19RD in cream?
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Its the same colour as my GT, so cream/beige/Ivory!

Ooo it so isn't! It looked like it had done 180 miles, in some rain on a rimey motorway (which it had). Consequently it looked a little bit mucky (in parts)

It did another 50 miles on the way home, plus with all the contruction traffic its more brown than white now!
Will give it a good wash Saturday.
