The dashboard has gone "funny" in the sun but doesnt look cracked so im hoping to spray with some kind of Vinyl coat .
Inner wings good but look grubby as there covered in waxoil.

That looks to be a solid old bus, im glad its in safe hands, let me know how you do on the dash painting as the DTR is in similar state although not so faded.

Dear Richard.
Lovely looking BX you have there Richard, Mk 1 too 8) I love the great
2 tone paintwork of the Leaders, one of my favourites those. very nice
indeed Richard
I nearly bought a used one about 15 years ago now, but when I took
it for a road test I parked up to have a good look round it ( as you do )
only to smell oil from the exhaust tailpipe :( which meant that the valve
stem oil seals had perished, causing the oil to run down the valves and
come out of the tailpipe has a bit of a Niff :(
Shame though I did still enjoy the road test, but I didn,t tell the garage
that was selling it, I just didn,t buy it
I have a white 93 TXi 1.6 auto, with air-con. with 47,000 miles from
new.and a 88 2.0 SAAB 900i 8v inj. in silver with 69,000 miles from new.
All The Best Richard.
and happy BX ing
Vince.

Looking good. I actually don't mind the blatantly wrong wheel trims either...

If the dashboard thing goes all wrong, I'll have a spare soon as I'm replacing the dash in mine. Only real problems are some iffy switches and two holes on the passenger side top. Not sure exactly when that's going to happen though...

If I said I'd looked at the pics of your new car without even a vague sense of avarice - I would definitely be lying! Bliddy luvlee! A mk1 ltd edition has got to me up there as a contender for 'most collectable BX'? Some of those mk1 alloys would really finish it off and look the business?

Congrats on a top purchase!

Looks great Richard - nice clean lines and the white and grey contrast suit it. Just needs a set of Leader wheel trims ( which I still have for you if you want them? They've already been to Doncaster and back for their hols!)

Hi Todd, sorry for the "cock-up" in meeting you when you were last over.
Yes i would still really like the "leader" wheeltrims. Could you find out regarding postage ?
Richard.
