Actually, f**k it, why am I apologising? Those links are to ancient threads - do you expect people to check every thread to make sure they don't repost? Frankly I haven't got time for that and if it's not of interest maybe you should just ignore it rather than make a big deal of it?

Just a thought.

No need to apologise, the only person who could end up being sorry is the one who parts with £1495 (If they can find anyone daft enough) ?

Actually, I agree. The head-smashing picture was a tad harsh. Not everyone is here 24/7 to keep an eye on every thread and it's been a while since this one came up.

I did express an interest at one stage, but then the Mk1 estate appeared for rather a lot less (initial...) investment.

Chillax boys, its good to keep topics current, that 19RD has been advertised for well over a year so has slipped well off the radar.

Richard, be nice to the new boys please.

Chillax indeed

I looked at this car. It has no structural rust even in wheel arches and has been welded in the boot well. The fronts on the rear wings are flaky though so need sorting. The engine is spot on, a low mileage donor from a Pug. Mileage is 178k or something, but as i say engine is very sweet. Gear lever is floppy so that needs looking at. New struts all round. Rode lovely and everything works. Too slow for me tho (earlier 19D engine) and no power steering, but i did like it. They will accept much less than that for it from what i could tell. Be good to get it in the club.

Hi Jay,
Thanks for your /\ comment, as you have quite clearly pointed out (Understanding of the '' emoticon) there was never any malice intended to anyone on the forum and its good that someone is at a level to understand/decipher this !

It was more of a stab at WHM, as over on the XM forums we tend not to 'Help them' to peddle/advertise their ridiculously overpriced used spares or vehicles, the only time they get a mention is to have 'A laaarf'

Anaconda !
Yeah lets have a separate post for a spotted BX whether its on E-Bay/Auto-trader/Gumtree/Car&Classic etc. (Even though its the same vehicle)
Or better still make a fictitious posting of a 'spotted' BX which isn't actually being advertised on the media/site stated :?

Is it !

I've looked and can only find THIS new listing for a 1.9 TXD (But its 'J' Reg and White) :?

So could you provide a link or state the E-Bay item number please ?

:)

.
The /\ (Two) quotes from THIS thread for ref. !

It doesnt matter where the car is advertised, if a poster hasnt seen a previous thread here, theres no need for an abrupt repy, particularly with a new member - that was the issue here.

If you were intending to be light hearted then why put so many daft symbols on your response. It wasnt clear. You clearly pissed off a newbie, hence my comment.

Easy folks! Still the season of goodwill isn't it? I only posted up in the first place because despite Richard's best attempt to use tons of smilies, as often happens on t'web, his post was taken as an attack hence the upset. Doesn't mean we all now need to start picking sides and having a battle!
