My GT stays up for a while too Hilary, its done about 56000 miles and had been maintained properly so I imagine its use and miles has something to do with it.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

I have just become the current custodian of the BX Sport!
Hilary's write-ups on here and on PistonHeads did help to some extent with my decision to go ahead with buying this most unusual (especially in UK) version of the BX.
Just insured and taxed and driven 10 or so miles to fill up with petrol.
More to follow.. but have a view to generally drive this car as regularly as possible whilst carrying out programme of general servicing, debugging and cosmetic improvement. It's very much "all there" but has not been helped by standing outside for almost a year and doing very few miles.

Quite a machine, I've seen it in high speed action in France, enjoy!
