My 92 TZD has developed a fault with the interior lighting. Began to play up intermitantly a couple weeks ago where the interior lights would fail to...

I once saw something like this myself. The GTI (and I believe the TZD) use a timed relay box for the interior lights, and they didn't work correctly....
