Hi I have a BX estate that I need to register here in the UK, I haven't got any form of french log book log book, what i have done previously is call the manufacturer and give them the chassis number then intern they write a letter confirming make model and year of manufacture. Unfortunately Citroen cant help me, so i need a letter from an owners club confirming make model and year of manufacture.
Is there any one on here who can help me out or can point me in the right direction of a particular club?
Cheers
Bobby

Two thoughts:
1. The Citroen Car Club have knowledge and expertise in these matters
2. Could you not register it in France to get the carte grise which can then be used here.

I think you may need to obtain a French logbook first...

I take it you read this? https://www.gov.uk/importing-vehicles-i ... ed-vehicle
They say: "If you don’t have the original foreign registration certificate, DVLA might accept other proof of the manufacture date, eg a letter from the manufacturer or a vehicle enthusiast club.".
So, it sounds like the CCC is the way to go.
Good luck with it!
