A BX at last...

Post by Photeauart »

After around 12 months searching for my Citroen hydro fix… at last I have found this lovely BX19 TXI. So pleased. Not sure there are many classic citroen owners in the midlands. You all seem to be elsewhere in the country but hopefully that's rectified now :D .

Slightly off topic… my daughters Saxo needs a small amount of sill tidying (welding) around the rear jacking points for it's mot. Any recommendations near to Solihull/South Birmingham?

Saw that on Facebook, looks tidy. Congrats.

Saxo - hate to say it, but it won't be a small amount of tidying. Saxos rot like buggery. Ask me how I know....

I'll dig out the pictures!

MoT fail on a scab about 20mm across turned into a rebuild of both rear arches, seatbelt mounts and boot floor.

I'll always love the Saxo. Just dug my wife's out to go back into daily service and it's a riot to hoon around, but my god they were poorly undersealed, and the metal is crap too. If it stays on the road for another year, it'll need some TLC by Autumn 2017!
