Hi guys,
Looking for a Weber 34DRTC carb (as fitted to any 1.9 BX 8v petrol engine). Spec or condition not too important, just need the body and butterflies more than anything.
Cheers

Re: Weber 34DRTC carb WANTED
You did very kindly send me a carb, but it's a 32/34DRTC, which is for a 1.6. I know you weren't sure what it was for, so I identified it. It's actually for a mk1/very early mk2 16 automatic.
I've got it on there to run it in the workshop, so it's fine for that, but long term I need one suited for a 19.

Re: Weber 34DRTC carb WANTED
Hi Kitch
Ahh, Didn't realise they were different, I fitted a replacement carb to WTF from a 1.9TZS estate and that ran OK.
Maybe that one would be useful as a spares for your A plate 1.6.
Cheers

Re: Weber 34DRTC carb WANTED
Yeah it'll find a use somehow, or just wait until someone needs a 1.6 version. The 1.9 version has two 34mm chokes, whereas the 1.6 has a 32mm and a 34mm, so would strangle a 1.9 a bit.

If that used to be on a 1.9, then yes! Completely the wrong jetting too.
