Hi all
Don't suppose anyone knows if/where I can get the red bumper inserts for a 16 valve BX by any chance.
Looking to respray the car soon and the original inserts have pretty much had it.

I'm in discussion with a couple of plastics companies at the moment, but as this will be the third attempt in 10 years, don't get your hopes up.

Hi . I'm about to advertise a 16v front bumper. it has the red insert (and usefully, that 'cup'-shaped insert blanking off the towing thing). Obviously these bumpers are very rare, and I'm hoping for a greedy price. However I've not worked out how much to ask yet; I'm just letting you know in case you're tempted to resolve the red strip problem while insuring against future damage to your vulnerable front fender. A BX fan since buying a 1983 1.6 in 1987 and subsequently a 1.9GTi, three 16valvers and a diesel Meteor. Their deaths have us done parted, save for one 16V sold for restoration, hopefully underway.
