They aren't the same part number from memory (I can check in a week or so), but may well have the same functionality.

The rear wipe relay on Timex was knackered when I got it, so I got a VW relay for the front and fitted the old front relay to the back - didn't get full funcionality, but it worked!

And i've recently replaced my front timer relay with a 99p VW timer relay, leaving me with a spare . . . something i wouldn't have realised had you not pointed it out, thanks Mike, you sir are a star! Now if only i can track it down.

I know i'm deserving a gold shovel prize for digging this old topic, but i really need to thank you BX Bandit for your answers here. Your photos and rear washer/wiper schematic really came in handy. My dashboard loom was torn out in various wires and didn't knew the correct ones for joining together until i found this.
