One of the headlamps on our 16v is loose with the bottom outside adjuster having its locking ring off.
Can any one explain how the adjusters work and how best to remove them without breaking them? Even though they are plastic and metal it seems that the ones on the car are stuck solid.
They appear to have a sort of metal sphere on them that plugs into the lamp unit - do these just pull off?
I have 2 second hand adjusters. Are the plastic pieces supposed to revolve along the threaded metal?
