Top hose in cooling system BX19GTI 8 valve needed
Hi. I am desperately in need of a top hose for my BX19GTI 8 valve. I can’t source one in New Zealand where I live and I’ve looked on just about every website including Chevronics in UK. Does anyone here know how I can get one? I’ll pay postage and cost of part obviously. The present hose is leaking and the car is a daily runner and in mint condition so needed

Alternatively your best bet might be to investigate making up a substiute hose in silicone or rubber from a hose specialist. This is the sort of thing I mean.

It is usually possible to make a temporary repair to hoses using self healing silicone tape. Its good on split ends.
