Window crank removal

Hello everyone!
So this is an unusual post for me, as I'm asking for a friend. His BX is a 1984 BX 14. The problem we're having is that he can't get the window crank off (which he needs to do in order to remove the door cards). Just pulling it off doesn't seem to be working. Is there a trick to getting it off?

Push the door card in, and also the contacting plastic ring. This should reveal a pin through the spindle. Push it out and don`t loose it, then handle will com off.
