Still no word on price or if it it starts etc, apparently the directors are trying to agree on a price, I fear that perceived value of the GTi is maybe why its been sat for 5 years as has alot of other cars perhaps!

Well I can imagine the figure they want will be rather obstructive to say the least, Im betting on £500 minimum!

Strange thing is, if you look under all the crap it looks dead straight! How could they just leave it there for 5 years?!!

The Xm looks like a series 1.5. Two spoke steering wheel with radio controls but s1 dash.

This has ground to a halt again, cant get any sense out of the owners of the garage who cant decide on a "price" for it. Ridiculous, hence why the probably have a field full of olf part exchanges they think are worth a fortune!

Could do with a clean... If the mechanicals can be eased out of their slumber could be a nice car.

I now realise why I prefer the 8v to the 16v - no body kit

Pathetic. It must be like dealing with truculent toddlers. Tell them a price: scrap value plus 10%. That seems fair to me.

I agree.The 8v GTi look far crisper than the Bloaty looking 16v with stuck on bits.

I have done Phil, but getting any sense out of the directors is hard, probably out at lunch meetings or at the Golf course all day if its anything like where I work!

Finally got an answer from these guys, they want WAIT FOR IT

£1000 EACH for the BX and XM, which is a petrol estate

So if anyone interested then please let me know.

Some how I expect the cars to be sat there for another 5 years!
