amazingly for bedminster, someone found the keys that were dropped right next to the car , then knocked on doors until they found someone in- left the keys with them who put a note with their mobile on the dashboard!

PM be our friend in this instance, althugh I have modified both cars now so that the easy method doesn't work anymore, and it's easy to do, although if I lock myself out of either car, I'd have to phone dad to come out with a spare set of keys.. Rather that than some scrote taking my car though

Of course you can get in! Stopping the rest doing it is harder! In the long run you can only go for a visible deterrent* OR make it take longer for the thief to break in OR make it require max damage OR max noise.

Actually you guys can probably help... I need to shift a BX with no ignition key. Best way? I need the wheels to steer to use the A frame!

Use a centre punch to undo the steering lock bolts or disconnect the steering column on the bottom clamp to the rack?
