Thanks for spotting that Richard, looks promising.
Hoping to get it home for the weekend if poss so i can have a look at what /where is leaking. Spoke to her son today and he has remembered a small leak whilst car was in use so fingers crossed it could be something minor like a strut return or similar?
1st job is to get those later Citroen wheeltrims off and put some proper Bx trims on. Oh and a really good wash to get rid of all the green stuff from standing . I never knew they did a 16 Leader and its badged as a 16RS Leader. Anyone got any info on them?
Richard.

Its a late Mk1 (hence the side repeaters) a few models which they introduced for a couple of months before the Mk2 arrived, when did you last see a Mk1 19TRS estate or Mk1 19DTR auto? Hence why there are so little left, its basically a bog basic BX with the 1.6 XU engine.richardd1652 wrote:Thanks for spotting that Richard, looks promising.

Been over to see it this afternoon and its not half bad. Started after a few turns on jump leads but unfortunately has a hydraulic leak which has drained the tank so wouldnt rise. Its had "home spun" repairs in some of the usual places in what looks like dulux but on the whole is pretty sound .
The brown dashboard top isnt stuck on carpet or anything dodgy but the plastic has gone "funny" in the sun.
Got to arrange transport back home which i was hoping it would drive home but hey ho. Hopefully next Saturday as the old lady who owns it is going away for Christmas other wise it will be after the holidays.
My Dad,s made up with it though,
I will keep you posted in the "gallery section"
Richard.

Just to give you all a quick update.
Recovery firm went down to pick up on saturday but as her suspension wont rise, couldnt clear to beavertail.
So i am going down with a friend and car trailor either wed or thurs armed with a battery, assorted spanners and several bottles of LHm to try to get her lifted and on the trailor. I suspect she will be airlocked with the tank being totally empty as the old lady had been periodically running her and moving around for the last 12 months with a small leak but we shall see?
