After a long HARD day machine polishing, vaxing etc this is the result, the exhaust is now correctly fitted and I changed the oil and filter as it was due.
NSF ball joint is shagged and theres a slight lhm leak from somewhere. Also need to visit my friendly local signwriter/graphic man to make up a coachline for that new front wing and that ugly towbar has to come off.

But overall a huge improvement and a lovely little car.

It's so shiny! :)
Looks brilliant with those white rims.

I love a BX in white. That has come up brilliantly - certainly worth all the hard work. No doubt it'll cost some money to get sorted but it'll be one of the nicest examples I imagine. The St. Tropez is nice in that it has a deluge of white - the window surrounds in particular, being in body colur, reflect early Mk.1's.

Very nice.

It looks much whiter than it should, then i spotted the white sills, is that standard?

Yes. If they could've Citroen would've painted the windows and tyres white, I'm sure!

Cheers for the Phil, it does make it look a lot whiter like that, if it had black sills it wouldnt look like a dulux ad

Is that rusty inner wings i can see in the engine bay, or have they been welded?

The innerwings have been plated Mulley but they seem to have done a good job, the Tropez was a just a bog standard 14 with white wheeltrims, a Pop up roof and some decals (no electrics, one interior lamp, partially carpeted boot etc) so as with all low spec (E or TE) ones they didnt paint the window surrounds black or the sills.

Its very bright but its just through a few hours of machine polishing and waxing, and is the same alpine white as any other BX.

That is Shineeeee! Looks great Tim. I've missed the story of this one as I've been away but I assume this is a new aquisition? You're going to have to find suitable premises and open up a musuem for your BX collection.

Right result today, I remembered seeing in the "bx parts hoard" from NT Shaws a ST Tropez Stripe Kit listed, they still have it. :D

Unlike your TZD then James (Still NO new photos of yours AFTER the purchase) !
So there you have it a bit of challenge as your TZD is also white, If your going to the Stratford meeting get polishing and get Tim to go in the St. Tropez and get a bit of competition going for "The Best White BX of 2009 Challenge" and also have the competitors to buy the winner a large 4-pack of "Becks" or beverage of choice to the winner
