Mk1 16RS auto. Damaged down both sides but starts rises and goes although looks like its been dragged out of a river!

Mk2 14E is very nice with low miles but really needs front o/s wing replacing as wheelarch is podged.

Afternoon Tim.Just come off the phone from Andy about his 19GT .I,ll ask him when i pick it up
Although ive been sorting panels out with RxBx and hope to save it.No he wasnt kidding about damage.I think if I,d seen it prior to buying i may have cried off and he also said it was a 16TRs Auto and its a Rs Auto but what the hell, its a Mk1 that maked all the difference and what it a headcase like me to do ,let the council shift it? it would have gone straight to the crusher.
It does need alot of work but it starts first turn and pumps sraight up and drives! but i cant see it ever been up to your cream Gt quality. But you never know,i may win the lottery one day. :D

Its not all about winning stuff, just nice to see another Mk1 being used, it does say 16TRS on the back, but I think being an RS makes it even rarer! Good save.

Im really lucky as my parents have a farm.Im just looking into undercover storage as i dont want them sat in a field over winter.Theres no point saving them just to let them dissolve with the weather up here in Yorkshire.

Looks like an RS that someones swopped the tailgate or badge. If its got no rev counter and manual back windows then its for sure.

I agree!
Even if you just put some sheets of wood over the grass and park on top of them it would be better.
That moisture is probably rusting out that BX already!

That poor Mk1... what did they do to it?

It'd be great to get that done up - something about MK1s...

How many BXs is that now Richard?

ditto - I love the looks of the phase 1 - I'd particularly like a diesel, but the GT is not a car to be sneezed at.

I actually prefer the looks of the Mk2, but that Mk1 interior is wondeful and they do in my opinion ride SO much better.
