BX CLEAROUT BE QUICK!
Phillip at Bullwinkles Garage (see other threads on here) has just rang me at work (didnt know he knew where I worked!) to say the local environmental officer (idiot by another name) has served notice that ALL the scrap cars on his land have to be cleared by Easter. apparently a chap up the road has been breaking cars and letting oil run into the sewage system so has caused an outcry!.
He has a Complete K plate TZD Turbo with a knackered Pump, 14TE ST Tropez which is pretty much complete and a Ice Blue TXD turbo with no engine which was very good on the body last time I saw it.
He says if you want any bits BE QUICK!
His number is 01507 578252
They are located in horncastle in lincolnshire.

Tim !
IIRC there was no TZD's (Just two TXD's) One Blue 1.9 n/a (engine-less) and a White TXD Turbo as Paul has confirmed:-

Ice blue 19TXD, lovely body but engine-less and the interiors in bits.

Complete and solid TXD Turbo "ST Moritz" special edition, with complete engine (Mulley)
The /\ photo's/comment's from THIS thread for ref.
If I get time later I'll transfer all the 'Bullwinkle Gallery' from my PC or SD card onto photo-bucket to host them as I could do with clearing some space (on the PC/SD card) !
Folk's really need to pull there finger out to get any bit's/car's from this BX grave-yard before there exhumed and gone for ever to meet their maker !

If nothing else we need someone to secure as many BX wheel trims as they can. Not to mention parcel shelf brackets, plips/door open panels/sensors, head and rear lights, and all the other things that sometimes get overlooked... (oh, and rear/front bumpers)... My guess is these can be stored while the 'offending' hulks are taken away.
Sad to see BXs like that.

I didnt really get my head round the conversation today with Phil.I really rang about the turbo that has already gone .He told me the St Tropez was rotten but didnt really talk about how incomplete the blue TXD was.
As you all know ive got the room to store cars( I dont think some weak kneed enviroment fella would risk entering the field with the killer geese)anyway, Im going to ring again in the morning to see how "get- atable " the wreckers are and what sort of money he,s talking. The trailer i borrow wont be up to this kind of rescue as its no winch so a recovery firm will have to be employed which is another expense.
What i am really getting at though is if anybody has the oportunity of a spares car etc but has nowhere to store ,im sure my parents wouldnt mind(as my Dad is Citroen mad anyway) them being kept up there whilst stripping or whatever took place.
It isnt going to be long till many parts are un-obtainable except off scrappers and as you all know i like to do my bit for preservation,
anyway the offers there.
Richard.

Talked with Phil again this morning and provisionally agreed to rescue both the engine less TXD and the rotten St Tropez. The TXD he said isnt as good as it 1st appears and needed welding to inner front wings and boot floor and the St Tropez is complete except a door trim but is rotten. But im going to try and save them from the crusher as they will yield many spares for us all and they can sit up at the farm till they are no longer needed.
It now all depends on the recovery costs but will report back in due course.
Richard.
