Nearly new BX

Post by toddao »

Only 3918kms - 2500miles? Looks like new especially the underbody shot.

If you click on 'Alle Bilder zeigen' under the small pic you'll get 15 good pics. Question is.. is it worth €15900??

£13,200! If it were a diesel i'd have said "try finding better value in the modern market" but it's not. Curiously 1891cc... must be a typo?

Gorgeous semi-nursing condition though!

The problem is you couldn't use it (unless you were utterly loaded) as the depreciation would be off a cliff. Imagine, run it a year, do 6000 miles, pick up a trolly ding or whatever, and your £13 has turned to into maybe - on a good day - £2k.

It's a museum piece and that's it IMO.

Its worth £2.5k absolute tops imho, they'll never sell that at that price, i doubt even citroen would want to pay that sort of money & add it to their conservetoire.

Its a beauty and no mistake, but it is a 19TRS estate after all, and probably too nice to use it as intended.

Quite right. It still didn't stop me going; 'bloody 'ell fire with knobs on!' If a continental collector wants a museum quality car for a personal collection they might very well pay that - there are more than a few collectors with those kind of resources for the right car - you couldn't use it - it would be a crime.

Reminds me many years ago of a "new" venetian 16V being sold off in france (apparently had come direct from Citroen) had 200 something miles on it. It was when i was first into 16V's and despite bidding £4k for it i was outbid in the 11th hour  RHD too!

Shame really, but probably a blessing in disguise

If that car is a 19TRi, shouldnt it have more than 102ps?

The GTI with the same engine is 122 or 125hp.

Price now 12,900 Euros. That's £10,800
