Just cant do it bud, even i am running out of places to park the damned things without resorting to one of my fields which are a bit of a bog at the moment. Very tempting though.

Thanks to James for a detailed description, but I'll have to leave it I'm afraid. Lana didn't say no as such, but she did (rightly) point out a few things around the house that need doing...
That coupled with fuel costs for the 600 mile round trip to collect mean I'd better not. But rising BX values mean that I'm sure someone could do the work and more than cover their outlay.

I'd send a PM so it flags up in their personal E-mail to get a quicker response (In-case they don't look @ the forum straight away) !
As in a few posts /\ he stated they'd be in Germany for a couple weeks but back on the 12th Dec. (today)

Good luck if you get it !

Hi chaps,

I am back. Car is still waiting for someone to rescue it. If I can't get this resolved by the end of next week I will weigh her in (with a heavy heart) and put the wheels and tyres on flea bay, along with the hubcaps separately and anything else worth pulling off quickly.

So, if anyone wants to take it away, let me know (yes, pm is best as I don't come on here daily), or failing that if anyone wants any bits let me know in case it comes to scrapping her.

Barry, if you read and decipher the thread, the location is very clear
Jmcc wrote:Yep, that's the one and she is in Shoreham (near Brighton).

Tim: I am sure it should be an "easy" fix - genuine pipe half fitted but couldn't get pump end in and my friend offered help (professional mechanic) but after two hours he got cheesed off with it. Now MoT and tax are out and so I'm looking at prob £300 or more to get it on road again which I can't really justify.
Jmcc wrote:OK, I am moving jobs so will lose the parking space at Christmas. If anyone wants to take this car on please let me know, I would like £150 for the whole thing, including winter tyres, 5 litres of LHM, parts to make it go and half a tank of diesel.

As has been said, needs the pipe from the pump to the flow divider fitting, bits taken off putting back on and then it should work. No MoT and currently SORN'd.

The winter tyres are probably worth more than £150 if I put them on the bay...

I am going to Germany on Sunday night but can arrange for someone to give access to the car if required. Will be back on the 12th.
'Ricardo' @ Shoreham near to Brighton (Where its parked up) to Liverpool (Shortest route) = 275 miles approx. by the Google maps suggested ROUTE, simples !

I knew it was in shoreham but to get a quote off shiply i needed the full postcode. However i put in a shoreham postcode for a taxi company and got a quote of £250 which is pretty good, so i'm deciding now whether to buy it.

I would take it as I have the space, but no way of getting it home.
