Just thought i'd post some pictures of my BX, i've done quite a bit to it so far, just needs some bits on the bodywork tidying up really. Ive given her a good service, changed the LHM, changed the headgasket, timing belt, water pump, belts, other gaskets, thermostat etc so she's running pretty well. Fitted the 205 GTi alloys, upgraded the stereo & speakers and given her a good clean too.
Sorry for the poor quality phone camera pictures by the way, it was getting dark so just had the phone to hand, which is a £27 Tesco Nokia job so the camera isn't exactly an SLR. =P

Looking good, that's my favourite BX colour as well, mine's a boring dull/flat white :( But is great to drive though :)

Yeah that's great. Well done for getting all those jobs sorted. The phone picture gives it that 80s/90s back-in-the-day vibe! :D

Thanks for the comments guys, i'm really enjoying driving her tbh, so many heads turn, probably for the wrong reasons though. #-o

Do you not appreciate my Hawaiian lei!? I even colour coordinated it to the French Flag, thought i'd do one up on the 'Dubbers' who have them in Caddys/Campers etc.

Not my cup of tea, but also technically an MOT fail for obscuring view. I'm not against a bit of personalisation though!

The rear number plate font looks illegal to me? Or is it because it's raised? or is that illegal as well? No criticism my friend, just an observation & if you can avoid being pulled by the filth & avoid any fine, is the reason for mentioning.

:D I thought you were some sort of Edition 38 exile with the garland, just waiting for a picture of banded steels and stretched treads to appear

No. If it's something 'dubbers' do then it's something that should be left to them

Not all dubbers, I would never have one in my mks golf GTi, its more specific to the vanners and chalk board bonnet brigade

It's never been done before on a BX i'm sure, there is a good reason though, which we are all aware of. Although worn rear arm bearings can give the impression of negative camber.
