A real pain in the a**e when that happens. I had a similar BS excuse given to me when I listed one of my motorbikes a few years back, only the offending third party was identified as a 'workmate' who worked in his office. Cheers, mate, here's your P45!

Perhaps you should offer to run over the nephew's fingers with the TZD loaded with half a ton of paving slabs by way of feedback?

I'd have asked the winning bidder to pay you your fees for the re-listing, otherwise i'd have done a non payment strike against them, its not your problem with his supposed nephew having made the bid, it's his.....

Yes - An unpaid item case can sort out the refund of the fees and will lead to a non-payment strike, but it's all the hassle and time wasted that really grates. Someone on here won my BX auction and then spent weeks prevaricating until finally backing out. It took so long I was out of time to log an unpaid item case! In the end, I had to ask him to cancel the transaction so I could get my fees refunded, which in all fairness, he did, but it don't half wind you up.

Sodding timewasters. Had that with my Peugeot 309 last year. Reported, dealt with and I got my listing refunded. Sold off Ebay in the end. There's not a cat in hell's chance that his nephew bid on it. He did not thinking he'd win it, then he did. As you can't neg these twunts, there's no reason for them not to piss about ruining everyone's day.

It is serious value. Short test must be putting folk off as it's dream BX spec for a lot of people.

But I've just spotted it RE-LISTED

Unfortunately the winning bidder from the previous auction has denied placing his bid and has suggested that someone else who had access to his computer must be responsible.

Paul, could have you not offered it as second-chance offer to the bidder below the winning one (to save on re-listing/costs) just a thought ?

yup this one is now mine and its in Leicester
only failed MOT on leaky front strut which i havent investigated further yet...
MOT until end of Feb.
