Certainly looks to be worth saving. Rear wings/arches obviously need repairing, but all in all looks a nice example. Hopefully someone on here will take it on as a project.

Christ - that really, really needs saving - not quite the best estate I've seen, but it shouldn't need too much work to get there!

too far away for me unfortunately, would be interesting to see just how far the rust has gone on the rear arches tho, certainly looks salvageable my old mk1 16rs estate was same colour, any idea of price?

I've had to take it out of the garage because I needed the space so it is now parked on my drive and I need that space from Thursday for customer vehicles. The idea to put it on the forum was an after thought. I had planned just to scrap it. At a push I could keep it longer, but I don't want it sitting around for ever.

Please DM me with suggestions as to what I should ask for it?

Slightly different I know, but a mate of mine has recently rescued an early Xantia with similar mileage which was going to be scrapped because the spheres were flat. He met the scrappy's offer of £100 and as it had some MOT left sorted the Tax & Insurance before driving it home.
