Back in 2007 we celebrated the BX's 25th Anniversary at the CCC National Rally. There were over 60 BXs there over the weekend. Now, I'm not suggesting we could reasonably expect that sort of turnout again for the 35th Anniversary this year, but we could have a go couldn't we?
The CCC National Rally is at Abbots Ripton, nr. Peterborough, 15/16 July this year (and before there's a groan about 'same old, same old..' it's only the second year it's been there and 2018 will almost certainly see a venue change to a different region of the UK)...

So who's up for The BX35 Challenge?

I will be in my meteor as it was 10 years ago that I got this car and the 07 national rally was the first one it attended

Any ideas how to get to the meeting site from Gatwick? Seems the flights would be around £110 if booked now.

Ask if any club members down that way could pick you up?

The arrival would be on friday and departure on monday, so there's a lot of room to surf around. Crazy that flights are cheaper than a ferry from where ever!

There must be some travelling up from the South coast?

It's only a couple of hours drive tops from Gatwick to the Rally...

Would have loved to go to this but will be in Sweden that weekend. Bloody typical.

There's always the Chevrons Rally 15th September - or indeed, if it's not too short notice, the X-Rally 23rd April.

will try and make this event for the weekend there should be some hotels in the area.
