WANTED - 4x4 est rear susp cylinder
I'm looking for a rear suspension cylinder (left hand / UK nearside) for a BX 4x4 estate. These are the kind with the remote sphere, not the type on 2x4 cars that have spheres on their ends. Can anyone help?

Hi, have you looked into modifying standard cylinder?
As far as I remember, it is the same except for a plug instead of a sphere. Can't remember if pipe goes to the 4x4-specific plug or in to an enlarged pipe hole (~10 mm tube instead of 4mm). I think it is connected to the plug... If so, you could simply use a regular cylinder, seal the pipe hole and refit your end plug.

Re: WANTED - 4x4 est rear susp cylinder
Thanks very much for that advice: I'll get the old one off and take a look (I do have spare cylinders for the 2x4 so if you are right this could be an easy fix. Wish me luck!).
Thanks again,
Jamie
