My lovely Meteor Diesel Auto (barely run in at 226,000 miles), in Graphite Grey, complete with front foglights, smoked rear tailblazer, and TG hubcaps.
During my ownership, I have replaced radiator, flow distributor valve, accumulator and accumulator sphere, HP pump, pump to reservoir hose, and belts and hoses.
I get 48-50 mpg on a long run.

I am always well impressed, how long these old diesel-engine-cars can stay in business. Compared to the modern diesel engines, the world was better these times. They just don't broke with simple maintenance.
Pretty car, too. Always have a nice ride! :)

Almost caught up with my TZD Turbo at a mere 294000 these engines XUD7/9 will go on and on if we'll maintained as taxi drivers in the early 90's will testify some of them clocking up 400/500k, these engines also appear on Diesel Bob's top ten list alongside the Transit Di, BMW common rail, and Perkins, and if you're running a Bosch pump you can use veg oil.

Thanks. As my BX has a Bosch pump, I'll try the veg oil
