Now to seperate the men from the boys.
Can anyone tell me what this part is.
Removed during strip down and fitted to the left of the turbo and down a bit if you are looking at the car from in front of it.
water hoses going to and from it and presumably two oil pipes ?
Is it an oil cooler i just dont know but i think its damaged and this is causing all my oil to fill up my coolant side.
Please let me know what it is and see photo where it looks like its broken under the gasket.

That is your diesel pre -heater unit, hence the water pipe fittings. It fits to the rear of the engine on the offside, it's is essentially a fuel warmer.
