Mounting plate made and painted. Fairly straightforward install on the volt/temp gauge, but the oil pressure gauge comes with its own sender which I beleive is a 1/8npt thread, where is the oil pressure switch located on a TD and what thread size it? Can I swap out the switch for the sender?

If you swop out the switch for the sender then your dash warning lights might not self test correctly, as they are wired to the oil pressure switch. You might be ok though. Tbh I’d prefer to have the safety of the Christmas tree effect on the dash if I suddenly lost oil pressure- you might not notice it if the only indication happens down by the gearstick.
On petrol XUs the pressure switch and sensor are adjacent to each other on the front of the block. Those without a sensor often have a blanking plug instead- perhaps XUDs do as well so you’ll be lucky.
