Speaking of detailing, I just gave the BX a once-over.
The highlight of the detail was this rubber/tire conditioner product. I decided to apply it to the wheel trims, and would you look at that. They are as bright as the day they were made! Before they were a bit dull and old-looking, especially the rear right one.

Your car is looking very nice for 33 years, it's a shining example. 😊
Prefer it to the Lamborghini, like Signor Gandini!

The story goes as such. The car was bought from Cimos in Koper, Slovenia in 1991 just before the breakup of Yugoslavia. It spent its first 30 years and 120k km in a village near the Serbia-Croatia border. The owner used it to get to and from work at a petrol station. The car was later bought by a relative of the owner after he passed. Two years later, I bought the car. It needed quite a bit of work. Luckily, most of the work was minor (like faded plastics, worn steering wheel and the such). I also had the valve cover gasket replaced, installed new spark plugs and wires, a new LHM reservoir, rebuilt the pressure regulator and rebuilt the rear suspension. To finish it off, the height corrector was adjusted. Now the only things left on the list are a new indicator stalk, a carburetor rebuild and a set of original wheel trims (like the BX GT and Digit had) to finish it off. I use this car as a daily driver. It also sees quite a bit of motorway use (where it is driven at the speed limit (130 km/h)), and I must say it eats up miles like a modern car! It also rolled over 136k km recently, where it sits now. I look forward to the next 100k!
That is all there is to say for now. I expect to go on many more adventures with this car. I think a former Yugoslavia road trip may be fun to do!
PS:
I just wanted to thank everyone who commented and helped me with diagnosing and fixing issues. This restoration project wouldn't have been possible without all of you kind folk!

Decided to get some TZx wheel trims to make it look a bit more modern. I think they fit well. In other news, I am currently working on changing the clutch and rebuilding the carb. Will post updates soon!

Thank you! Looks very clean indeed.
I am thinking of getting some later smoked tail lights for it. I think they'd pair nicely with the quite simple clean exterior it has going with these wheel trims!
I'd keep the original ones, of course.

Yes, smoked will look good. No harm in minor changes or updates, things that can always returned to stock if required. 👍

Exactly my thinking. I think it would look excellent!
I just need to fix all the other issues before working on cosmetics :P
