well ... it will have over 300 nm of torque ... and it is an estate version(the longer... the better (NOT) ... and yes the previous owner didn`t care to much about the car ...
i can feel it even in normal driving... how it twists ... so it is a good adition!

There are no more 16 valves in Romania there are 3 or 4 left... and they are not for sale... and the shiping for a interior from outside the country doubles the cost of the 16 v interior

I have to say that the photo looking into your engine bay from the top shows what a very neat job you have done. You've taken a lot of care! Have you used a standard XM/Xantia 2.1 radiator and inter cooler?

jeth .. it will fit in  or else !

bx bandit , all the wiring and the air ,water and stuff .. are original from the xm.. mostly they are exactly in the same position as in the xm ... we didn`t want the engine to seem out of place ...

Did you have to modify any of the slam panel to fit it in? I'd like to fit a larger front mounted inter cooler (say from my 2.1 Xantia) but from a brief glance it means cutting bits out of the car which I'm reluctant to do.

Well i think your efforts of taking all the parts from the XM was worth it as it really does look neat!

yes ... the front of the car needs a bit of work ... cut in one place... strenghted in other ....
measured the original intercooler .... it is 86 cm wide , 37 cm heigh .. so it is just a case of remodeling the original status of the fan units ...

here are some photos with the front

Image
(we have added a bar in front .. for protection)

Image

also the bottom end(the one that the radiator and the intercooler sits... needs to be lowerd and moved a little in the front ... just for that little extra space ... in case of something ...the engine won`t suffer much !)
any questions i will help you with joy ! i do not recomend the original intercooler ! If you want to do an upgrade ... choose the c5 2.0 hdi one !
I will do that on a 1.7 td engine for a friend... and i think it is less space consuming... and better performance

I'm sorry to say that you've bent your car, judging by the last picture!

Nice work. I like the black & red combination, my favourite. Those black bumpers work nicely!

That looks great. All the better to know it's backed up by distinctly un-BX performance! 8)
