I wouldn't worry, at least its in the dry & should be fine & easy to recommission to get back on the road. Why don't you run each one every 6mths, that way you can enjoy them both whilst ensuring they both get used without large periods of non use?

Yeah I think that's what we're going to do once the tax on the Hurricane runs out.

We should have been doing it a while ago but never thought about going with a different insurance company, the one we use is just down the road from us and I was being told that the 'insurance place will think we're taking the pee if we keep swapping them over'.

Found a forgotten picture of our TXD from August 2010, this car will be back on the road in the next month or two.

Both of ours now have the new style front reg plates.

Very smart car! Wonder if anybody else gets equally pissed off as I do when people leaflet the windscreen wipers...

I like those new plates with EU identifier. Still undecided whether they're a better fit than the original fonted ones...

This is off the road at the moment in dry storage but is started and run regularly, no problems that we know of. Sadly can only afford to run 1 BX right now and the Hurricane is the current road car.

TXD will be back on the road in the next month or two swapping with the Hurricane.

Had this out of the garage the past couple of weeks, done a few minor jobs, stuck 4 new tyres on it, new exhaust, gutted it and given it a full jet wash on the driveway, looks lovely with the speed lines and front spoiler on.

Gonna stick it through an MOT soon but it looks as good as when it went into the garage 4 years ago and is running as it should, there's a good chance we'll be selling it with an MOT and Tax on it.

The new tax rules don't allow you to sell it with tax on, the new owner has to buy it without and buy new in his name.
