I bet the boot has come from another bx. Thats why the abs light dosent come on. Becase it hasnt got abs. Where do you think the spilor has come from.

Don't know about the boot I'd guess someone swapped spoilers, the TZD should have abs yours probably just isn't working.

If you have ABS then you will have an electronic control box for it under the front passenger seat.

If you can get a picture of the engine bay that would help, there will be an ABS bump bolted to the near side inner wing.

The complete hatchback probably did come another BX as you have stated, but which DID have ABS fitted hence the badge !

Maybe this TZD has had a rear-end shunt or the back window got broke so hence it's not the correct 'Baby-walker' type that it would have been fitted with when it left the factory/production line (The same as James, TZD that he's now sold) !

So maybe who knows 100% for sure is the 'Medway Citroen Garage' you bought it from, after all they owned for a good number of years from your quote in another thread !

Your wrong, ABS on a TZD was a factory fitted 'special order' option and not standard fitment !

Ill have a look at the control box thanks.
Yes there was some glass undernieth th seats. When i was trying to sort out the float. And the boot cover did not fit in it properly. It was a dark blue one. Should be black
So mabye it was from the back windscreen.

Thats mabye why the reverse lights Back windscreen wiper and the heater not working
Might not be connected up. But im not to sure. Need to have another look in the day light.
It smells a lot better put some apple smilling polish on it.lol Gave it a wash and a good clean.

I've got a black TZD with the "baby walker" spoiler. I much prefer yours. If I'm ever in Lincolnshire, fancy a swap (spoilers, not cars!)??

Didnt know about the breaking in bit.
Looking for a load cover. For the modle ive got. I think ive got a older blue one. Its still got the sunblinds fixed init. But does not go in the slots at the back.
Plus the breaking might explane the slight brown. Tint on the passergers door window. From another bx

I think this TZD may have belonged to Bertie Bassett (Licorice Allsorts) rather than Medway Citroen Garage !
They are two types of rear parcel shelf's relative to the fixtures (Then of course there's the different colour type, plus some had pull up blinds).

The Mk1 and early MK2 BX's had a bench type folding rear seats and the parcel shelf was located by two pin's either end of the parcel shelf plus being supported by the two in-fill side panels inside the 'C' pillars.

The later rear seats also had the 40/60 split in addition to being folding and the parcel shelf had a different type of fixing each end of the parcel shelf (radial hook affair) plus the addition of being supported at the back rest part of the seat at the 40/60 centre area !

The two type's are specific to the seat's fitted and that your TZD is a 'H' reg. it should be the later type configuration of parcel shelf you need !

Please confirm which type of rear seats you have fitted to your TZD ?
I maybe be able to help you out !
