Does sound rather intriguing, that'll be a very rare car, 1600 petrol estate, i think we only know of one other on the forum?

Always dubious about "genuine mileage" claims, esp with "lost service book". VOSA print out only goes back a few years (I think? since the system was digitised). My car has an almost completely rust free chassis and not one single bodywork scratch but has covered 75k, plus "misaligned odometer digits" room for manoeuvre. There are cars on 150k with "spotless interiors" here.

Interesting car on rarity, but I personally ignore mileage now on these kind of classic ebay ads.

Pictures now on ebay, worth every penny in my opinion! Quick touch up on the bumper, new set of rear spheres and job done.

Do the cambelt as per, all the fluids and you have a car that could win this years concours at the X Rally!

They arent the originals, but I would say over 10 years old. Petrol BX's arent too hard on their tyres hence why they havent been changed.

It's an estate and i like it

. I suppose it has got the best interior, wheel trims and colour, 3rd best engine too.

My nan and grandad live in Christchurch, shame it's an estate really, and that i've just bought a GT! Did they every do a 14 estate?

On the continent they did yes, but not in the UK, the did a BX 1.1 hatch aswell, but I think that had pedals

Didn't mean to pick on your post twice, but you forgot to mention the stuffed gearbox!

I think that's strong money personally.

I thought it said that the gearbox thing had been sorted now?

Hmm, that's a bit worrying about the noise above 50mph. Might be lucky though & its not connected to the gearbox, noisey wheelbearing? Does look nice though

Shame its got the wrong engine
