Citroen Alloys x 4

Post by jeremyC5 »

I have 4 Alloys whch are original citroen.
There are no centre cover caps for them.
They are with tyres, but I think all the tyres are not much good.

Someone who said he was from the BX forum said he was coming to visit me about the BX19RD for sale, and I was going to ask him if they were from a BX...
he said he was called: BX4LYF, or superadzz
...is he here, because I can't find him on the members list ?

Anyway, failing any contact, I will post some pictures up in the next few days and see if anyone wants them.
How much are they worth?

Which type of alloy wheel are they? If they are speedlines, are they 6j or 5.5j width? Price, depends upon condition, anwhere from £40 to £100 for all 4, slightly more if there are 4 decent tyres fitted as well.

Hi Jeremy
It depends which ones they are and in what condition there in and IF they come with the STUD-BOLTS ?
As the stud-bolts are getting harder to source now as SECOND-HAND individual items, unless you buy new ones part number:- 96070416

The #4 type are getting hard to find (Also the very early type can be of a Metric size rim so tyres are hard to source and very expensive) Tim will verify this if he reads this post !

The #8 style can be either 5.5"J or 6"J rim widths dependant on which model they came off, but the 5.5"J are the most common ones which come up F/S mostly than any of the other O/E alloy's however these can buckle quite easily from pot holes and get oval, so any purchaser needs to check this out !

The #12 have a 6"J rim width which where fitted to the Phase 2 16v models with the silver outer rim and Anthracite centre finish, again need checking for any damage/ovality !

The #14 are very rare and tend to command the most £'s as these were fitted mainly to vehicles in European countries such as Germany/Holland/France !

I hope the /\ may be of help !

:)

Thanks for your replies,

I'm afraid I have to disappoint, myself included, they are not from a BX.
They are the 'common as muck' ZX alloys.

3 'usable' continental tyres, and one other.
