BX washer jet solution?

You may all be already doing this, and will laugh and cackle at me, but has anyone noticed C8 wiper blades? They have a pod epoxied onto the wiper blade that houses 5 washer jets. The blade itself is 24" or 26" I think, so far too big for a BX, but I squirreled away two such wiper blades that were knackered during a service we did, and got the pods off with a knife. This was quite easy, and then it was just a matter of getting some old washer pipe (I cut some out of a dead Picasso), supergluing the pod on a new wiper blade for Hugo and connecting the washer pipe (it just pushes on). It works really, really well, and I can provide pics.

But you probably know this already.

I didnt, i look forward to seeing some piccies of your improved washer system. Some members have fitted standard washer jets where most cars have them, in order to avoid the annoying problems associated with the spray bar clogging & splitting.

Good plan that..

small bore copper pipe with drilled holes of 1mm seem to work better than the plastic crap too..

I have seen normal washers fitted to the bonnet but it's just not the same as having the wiper arm based one. Will upload pics tonight!

We ran out of screenwash so it's not clearing as quickly as it should, but I'm far from patient and too excitable!

17", wide screen

I'm looking through 2x19" and it barely filled one screen, and my work laptop has a 24" screen (sat next to it that i have to plug in).

Mulley, them pics are 812x609 so would fit just about on a 14" screen, so possibly you need to up the resolution on the laptop? They should happily fit on 17". Industry standard is now 1024x800 and thats been the 'normal' domestic size for many years (inclusive of laptops).

But as there are a lot of IT experts here i'm sure i'll be told i'm wrong.

Resolution is fine, what appears to have happened is that whilst the image was loading up it was maaaaaaaaaaasive, & then it re-sized itself & fitted in the screen with ease, whats all that about???
