LHM flowing out again

Way2go, its pipe no 1 on the 2rd image on that handy pdf file that you posted. Its the one going to the front height corrector thats buggered. What do you think about getting pipe no 2 done at the same time, i've already got that one & its only an extra hours expense to do that one at the same time? I'm just concerened that if pipe no2 goes at some point in time, i'll effectively be paying for an additional 3hrs labour when i could have only paid for 1, thats my logic behind changing everything now, so i wont have to worry about them in the future. Once these are fitted, they'll outlast the car as the originals lasted from 1993 til now.

It's a difficult call to make but the octopus (No2) does fail so if you feel it is original then getting it changed for 1 hours labour is very cheap and also less to worry about for the future.

If you intend to keep this car, maybe good to go for it.

Cheers for your advice, i think i'll probably go for it as i intend to continue to use the car regularly. Even if i decide to sell, i think it would make it a lot more saleable for the new owner not having to worry about that aspect at all

Collected car from garage today, paid for 4hrs work as agreed & then when i got home i realised that they'd only fitted one of the pipes when they'd agreed to fit both??? Where do i stand regarding this as it was a verbal agreement & handshake at the time, nothing in writing

I was told 3hrs to fit & if i wanted the other one doing they'd do both for 4hrs, christ i even left both of the fucking pipes on the front seat so not sure what's gone wrong.....

Arh well that depends, both go the front HC, one is low pressure return or "leak off" the other is the HC exhaust The excessive fluid that hisses out when you lower the suspension lever manually.

I believe it was the main hydraulic pipe that was changed, the 3 port one with the thicker pipes than the other one, if that makes sense?

Rang garage today, they said that they'd fitted both sets of octopi, erm i said no, they said yes, i said i must be going mad as i thought one of them was still in the boot, so i apologised in advance for my mistake. Checked the car when i got back home just now, it would appear to be my mistake, i must have forgotten that i'd left another set (i had 2 identical sets of them) in the boot

Checked in the engine bay & all is well, so it was my mistake afterall, sorry Frontlines. Just glad that it was me that ballsed up rather than them.
