Surely thats a CLRBT!

Because we all have BX's already, Simples!BX Meteor wrote:So if it is worth that money, why is no-one here going to buy it ?
so spring of 2010, spring is the best time to sell most things, and petrol cars were selling better in 2010 than this year.MULLEY wrote:About 1.5 years ago.BX Meteor wrote:when was that though (year/month) ?MULLEY wrote:I sold my 8v for £950, so that level of price seems to be consistent for that type of car. Obviously more sense than money???BX Meteor wrote: I cry when I think they get better MPG anyway
I also have a 1952 Daimler Consort 2.5 straight six (petrol of course). Absolute flat out top speed 80mph, but should not cruise over 50mph, and at steady long journey clogging up slow lane on motorway at 40mph returns 20mpg. Now no-one would want to buy such a car and use it every day on those figures. I am thinking of putting a diesel engine into it so that I could use it more often.MULLEY wrote:Not sure about older petrol cars dying a death, modern diesels are hellishly complex & the high pressure systems frequently go wrong & are expensive to fix. So yes, a modern diesel has the same power as an older petrol car & does more miles to the gallon, but if it keeps breaking down & costing a fortune to get plugged in to find the problem & then fix it, petrol motors could find a re-surgence
That's probably because the angle of the glass deflects the IR beam slightly. I think you also get more reflection back from the glass when at an angle, reducing the strength.Defender110 wrote:Thats the one! I have a CLRBT on my TZD that only works well if you point it forwards through the O/S rear passenger window, not throught the rear screen & not through the drivers window or the windscreen which are nearer to the reciever???????
