I've had my TZD for just over six weeks now, and still haven't really decided on a name for it.
Apart from the obvious "you ****ing (heap of) of ****" (add/delete asterisks and adjectives as necessary) when it breaks down or something goes wrong, have you named your car (BX or not) - I have seen some floating around on various threads, so come on, share!
Frontrunner at the moment for mine is GrowlyCaR, which is pretty embarrassing - I really hope something just as appropriate but um, better, occurs before that one sticks

I know it's an inanimate heap of various (mostly) inorganic materials and not a very heavy person dressed up in (mostly) fibreglass armour but "the car" doesn't really cover it when I call my much less loved Xsara (which has never had any other name) that.
Come on, someone other than Anne-Marie and her Daisy must have at least a nickname for their BX!

Dear Sandre.
I really like giving my cars, names My Rapier was called Eleanor
from gone in 60 seconds. My SAAB is boringly called Sophie The
BX was called Neville I think by the previous owners, but I like to call
my cars after ladies names She is just called her highness, for the
time being until I can come up with a nice ladies name
Hope this helps Sandre.
Vince.

This one is called Jasmine or more commonly Jazz. First was called Freda. I've had scrappers called Henre and Janice. I've also had a Leon called, Honey, tis a long story.
the black shed is Moby 2 (Moby 1 was my much missed XM) and the pink shed is Richie (named after one of my heroes).
The bus is 132 and always will be, the ambulance is "Victor 2" and the forklift is Climax, because it is!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
Sophie is Sophie, known to a lot of BXers. So she will always be known as Sophie to me.
Otherwise i havnt ever named a motor. Kin BX is a joke between a mate. Nice motors but inanimate objects to me. They aint pets, just love to own and drive them. Curse them when they wont go but talk to them no. May thank the lord that they got me there though.
My 2CV is called Elly (ahem, also after Eleanor in Gone in 60 Seconds...). Wife's Mini is called Betsy. All my 2CVs (a lot of them!) have had names over the years.
I find names hard work with BXs. I tried calling the last one Francine, in honour of a fabulous host we encountered when on the BXagon, but it didn't stick. That car is now simply known as Bex, even if she also still has the secondary name of The Green Tiger.
My Mk1 doesn't have a name and I'm not sure it ever will.
