Is the DTR home now though?

I shall be requiring a guided tour of the collection on Sunday morning (better get there 7 am eh? ;P)

Fantastic job you have done there Tim, look forward to seeing her one day.
Hope she takes pride of place in your collection.
All you need now is a MK 1 estate. I think there's one available?

Shes still tucked up at the bodyshop sorry, as theres a few "little" jobs left to finish so you will have to wait to the ICCCCCCR, the GT and SD1 are chez Leech at the moment.

You are welcome to view the fleet but they some of them are off site, about 10 miles away in my lock up.

Another day on the DTR, rear bumper is on properly, complete with MK1 stylee mudflaps, I had just attached it for the MOT but wanted to treat and paint the panel behind it, which is now done.

The panel between the screen and bonnet was painted today and I fitted that aswell as fitting the lower grille which is quite fiddely, the sills have been rusttreated and will be sanded and hammerited before the ICCCR.

Ive made a start on cleaning the interior plastics which are responding well, after weds she will be coming home ready for some small jobs ready for harrogate.....and the horns packed up again!

Thanks guys and gals, it wont win any concours, but is very presentable, I have no intention to sell her, and will continue to replace worn bits/repaint any other missed bits (the door shuts for one and maybe the front slam panel). She will be attending a few shows and give the GT a rest.

I do hope another Mk1 DTR does show its face one day as its no fun being the only one!

That has come out fantastic! Super shiny indeed, those alloys really suit it too.
