Likewise - it's nice to have the sun coming in through the sunroof even on a cooler day, so I don't see why it should have to be an either/or option.

Car collected today. It managed to pump up, but a bit piddly like an excited terrier. It managed to drive, despite being a bit asthmatic. So onto the transporter under its own power, loaded with lots of spare parts bunged inside. Only loose bit was a grey tailgate/bootlid with TWR badge on. I am assuming that is just dealer Wilkinshaw, rather than the BX that won Le Mans. Came off the truck at mine and onto the drive easier. It is very tempting to have a poke round to see what it needs for a ticket, despite that it is the salty season.
Gary responded by the temperature adjustment failing full on. So from no blower a few weeks ago we now have to travel in the tropics. Well I guess that was kind of inevitable. Pesky BXs.

If it is reasonable tomorrow might have some more info and pics.

Postscript. There is no more than surface rust on the A post. Wants catching now. Weather has been anti LHM diagnostics, but a naughty navigation of the lanes shows that the car is not far from usable. Needs all the usual preventative servicing, of course. Best then given to someone else who can sort out the engine into a best balanced presentation. Realistically that wants to wait for better weather and perhaps March/April. That fits in with building works.

There looks to be another pair of leather seats, as well as some other larger bits of the second car to be collected/delivered after Chrimbo. So some more interesting stuff to come. Not really needing doors for this car, but might be good for someone else. The seats can go in Walt who has a few nice extras already, mainly to lighting and sunroof. My mate is now in negotiation to buy another car, an Austin, off these lads. No doubt he will want me to get that going, a task I can do.
