It might be a Mk 1 but in 'Ivoire' and lovely brown interior....might as well be a Leyland from the 70s.

Sorry but that colour scheme was for types who dress like Clarkson when he did that test of an MG with tweed jacket and pipe. Trouble is they still exist and so does Clarkson!.

On grounds of colour scheme alone I would buy something else. Not often I feel like that but even Gandini must have choked on his espresso when he saw that exit the factory.

Spoken to Robert Chinnery the owner, the cars inside and starts and runs. It's had over £2000 spent on it in 2010 at Chevronics and hasn't been anywhere since. It needs a rear seat, door card and a few bits. I've educated him regarding price as originally he hoped for £1000! And I think now a sensible offer would be accepted. He is more bothered about it finding a loving home than the price. It needs a long term home with a garage and someone prepared to spend time and few quid on getting it sorted!

Bear in mind he's not a well man.

It would be a good idea to know what work has been done on the car, that would make an potential purchaser more likely to offer a decent price bearing in mind its still got plenty left to do on it & has no mot. It does have plenty of potential though :)

Two people have expressed an interest in this car, I have suggested an opening price to offer Robert of £300 and see how it goes.

Poor old girls been off the road for so long it needs using (in fine weather). The rear bumper is easily sourced.
