I'll second the parts prices being cheap, not many cars you can buy front discs & pads for £25 for an axle set to do an oil change was costing me less than £15 inc the filter, fuel filters are usually under a fiver as well & air filters again aren't expensive if you trawl e-bay, i've got some paper one's available for £3 each, or i can sell you a K&N for £20 A few bits are now getting scarce, but someone on the forum may give up those bits for the right incentive

Are we all stocking up on them while they are still available ? , and if so, who's garage is being taken over by the BX clubs stash of bits ?

Many happy returns .
I confess that I tend to stockpile spares when they are cheap. They have a habit of suddenly not being available anymore and the price goes up while availability drops. Depends how long you plan to keep the cars, of course. With Messerschmitts and Goggomobil I have a lot of spares bought when they were not valued, just as the cars were not. That has turned into a very good investment.
