Who can supply the main octopus "off the shelf" found this place Eurocarcare.net but currently out of stock and priced at £40 . Can main dealer still supply?

Yes, still available from main dealer - I bought one here in France a couple of weeks back. About 70 euros.

Yes Tim have tried them but to be honest i find Chevronics quite pricey, sorry Rob. About £70 plus £10 p/p, main dealer quoted £60, and with the cost of the work on the t/d now a few hundred over budget any savings are good.

I will try Malcolm tmrw, i suspected a leak near the bottom rear engine mount but on removal of the octopus it looks ok with no obvious splits, i will replace it anyway as the ends of the return pipes from the struts and the reservoir ends have been repaired a few times due to the rubber pipes splitting, seems false economy not to whilst the engine/box are out as i guess its still the original 25yr old fitment.

Malcolm Lockwood has octopus off the shelf and cheaper than most othets.
