Hi from Finland long time. Today I dragged myself to warehouse to start engine warm and I took the battery out of my car. My car is spending leisure time because I managed to wreck transfer gear box again. Was it second or third time. :? I don't remember. Well car is driveable but something driving like on the picture is not possible. Merry Christmas everybody!

Hi, thanks. Yes it is in drivable condition, but some oil leaks in transfer gear box and back of hydraulic cylinder. Timing belt 10 years old. Should be done something, but lack of time. Last winter I changed all spheres and now they are right ones in back axel.. =D> Well maybe some day. #-o

Hello Cbix!

I just wonder how yuo tok away the 16 Valve body parts. I´m on my way to restore a 16 Valve and I have to take away some of this parts. I also I wonder what glue yuo used to set them back?

Hi, Warming might help with side skirts, sidestrip doesn't like warming. They will be bending and putting back is difficult. Tailgate spoiler (serie 2) is very difficult to loosen. I changed the whole tail gate. The glue was Sikaflex 221

Hello and thanks for your answer! My car is a serie I so it will be a little bit easier. I have some rust to repair and I need to take of the side skirts. I´m not sure what you mean with the side strips. Is it the strips on the doorside. If so they are different and easy to take of on series 1. Did you now a good glue to use between the rear wing and the inner wing. Original there is some ugly red stuff. Gucka in Swedish :) I have too change the right wing depending on rust around the petrol filling.

Maybe a window removing knife could be used to come under the side shirts? Like this one https://www.aliexpress.com/i/32893852013.html
