An Introduction and a Find

Morning all,
I've been a BX fan for ages, ever since I had a gorgeous red 8v GTi many moons ago. My yearning for one was kicked off again when I spotted a similar car to mine on Car and Classics but sadly I can't get one just yet as I need to make room by repairing and selling my Morris Minor Traveller - which I love but not as much as a BX.
I have come across a rarity and would love to bid on it but apart from not having the space my wife absolutely hates BX's so I've got an uphill struggle on my hands :roll: The car is a Digit and, according to the blurb, it's the only right hand drive one left in the country and will be on auction at Brightwells next week.

Hopefully an enthusiast will take it on as the MOT history suggests that some work could be needed soon on suspension mounts.

Very rare indeed, there was one on here a few years ago that got passed about a little before being restored and shipped to Ireland IIRC.

It's a bit far for me to go and check it out but it does look good in the pictures, just that slightly questionable MOT history hanging over it. It wouldn't put me off though and I'd love to take it on.

Ah thanks for that. Did a bit of searching and found some interesting posts but not an actual restoration thread, would have like to have seen that.
Anyone going to the auction?

Blumin eck, that went cheap, someone got a bargain there. They were fighting over this a couple of years back IIRC?
